I feel like every time I write I blog post I have to preface it by saying "I'm not dead!" Truthfully, the last few months have absolutely been among the most internally rewarding I've had in a long time, but I've also been exhausted and (I guess) too lazy to put together a blog post. I haven't been finishing a lot of knits, but I'll have a couple big projects to share soon!
I do have a couple pieces of news that are a bit overdue here.. First, Palindrome Knits now has a stockist! If you find yourself in Barrie, ON you can find my yarn at True North Yarn Co.! I'm working on another batch of yarn to send up right now, but you'll soon be able to get your hands on a couple exclusive colourways I put together for them.
In celebration of Canada’s 150th, I dyed up “Oh Canada!” on the left and “True North” on the right. Both colours are exclusively available at True North Yarn Co., so if you’re interested in a skein and aren’t local, give them a call! And if you’re in the area, be sure to stop in. It’s a lovely shop and I wish I could visit more often!
The second thing that happened was my first festival! I was a vendor at the Skeleton Park Arts Festival here in Kingston, ON at the end of June and I had such a great time showing off my yarns, meeting people, and doing a little bit of knitting evangelism. So many skeins found new homes, and it was really delightful to see people excited about my little business. Hopefully I can do more stuff like this soon! All of my leftovers from the festival went up in my Etsy Shop and there's still lots left!
Anyways, that’s all for me today. I’ve got a lot of yarn to dye up, a baby sweater to finish, and some poutine to cook for dinner! Happy Knitting!
